| Hey Guys...
For those of you who don't
know, there has been a silent draft going on,
over the past 3 days, to
choose teams for next year's ROLLING THUNDER
SERIES. Team statistics will
be a separate category, with the top 4 scores
from each team being added
together for the team total for that particular
raceday. So, with
6 or 7 members on a team, if anyone misses a race, or if
anybody has a DNF, there will
still be 'teammates' to back him up. The
individual statistics will be
just as they were this year.
So, please take this
opportunity, when you receive this email. to copy down
the email addresses of all of
your teammates, so that you can all stay in
touch. All of the email
addresses in the 'To:' section of this email, should
have the person's name
alongside of it. Please use this. At the next race,
I'll be passing around a
contact sheet, where you'll be asked to put your
name, phone number, and email
address. Then, prior to the first race of
2004, I will have compiled
the info and will distribute a contact sheet to
everybody.
Please
note:
THESE TEAMS ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE NAS-T-JET TEAMS, WHICH
WILL
BE PUT TOGETHER SOON.
Team Captains...You might
want to think of a name for your team. Personally,
I am going to try to get a
sponsor for our team, and get t-shirts or hats
made! Just food for thought.
Here are a few of the
suggestions for a club name:
TRAC (pronounced track)-
Thunderjet Racing Association of California
HORSC - H O Racing of
Southern California
WHOR - Western H O Racing
C ya.
